The Teacher's List

Hi, I’m Rachel! 👋

I’m a mom, pediatric nurse practitioner, nursing professor, lifelong gift-giver, and the person who has spent way too much time searching through old messages trying to find a teacher’s favorite Sonic drink. 😅

And that’s exactly how The Teacher’s List was born.

As a mom, I love showing appreciation for the teachers who pour so much into our kids. But somewhere between work, school activities, family life, and everything else on the never-ending mom to-do list, I found myself asking the same questions over and over:

Where did I put that favorites sheet?

What was her favorite candy again?

Does she drink coffee?

What size shirt did she say she wears?

And can someone PLEASE send me a picture of that paper from the beginning of the year? 😂

I kept thinking… there has to be an easier way.

So I created one.

The Teacher’s List 💛

The Teacher’s List is a simple place where teachers can create and update their own favorites list—and parents, families, room moms, PTO members, and anyone else wanting to show a little appreciation can easily find it throughout the year.

No lost papers.
No scrolling through months of GroupMe messages.
No texting the entire class asking if anyone remembers the teacher’s Starbucks order.

Just one easy place to find the things your teacher actually loves.

But for me, this is about more than making gift-giving convenient.

I’ve spent my career caring for children and teaching future nurses, and I know firsthand how much educators give of themselves. Teachers celebrate our children, encourage them, challenge them, comfort them, and often love them through some of their hardest days.

They deserve to feel seen, too.

My hope is that The Teacher’s List makes it just a little easier for families to say:

“We see you. We appreciate you. And we’re thankful you’re part of our child’s story.”

Whether it’s Teacher Appreciation Week, a birthday, Christmas, the first day of school—or simply a random Tuesday when someone deserves their favorite drink and a little reminder that they’re doing a great job—I hope The Teacher’s List makes showing appreciation easier.

Because sometimes the smallest gestures mean the most.

Welcome to The Teacher’s List.

Making teacher appreciation a little easier—and a lot more personal. 💛
